You’ll learn the vocabulary of printing and typesetting while getting a feel for this beautiful and historic process. Gain access to IPRCs collection of over 150 fonts of lead and wood type. Leave the class with a printed card and the satisfaction that comes with using 100 year old equipment!

In this two - day workshop, we’ll learn how to custom tailor a clamshell box to house something precious whether a Tarot/Oracle deck, keepsakes, fine art prints, photographs, etc. Bring decorative papers and bookcloth to customize your box.

In this 2 day workshop, participants will come away equipped with a basic understanding of the tools required for bookbinding, and will learn how to create an exposed spine bound book. Commonly referred to as coptic or link stitch binding, the advantage of a section sewn binding is a spine that opens completely so that pages lie flat. Participants will come away from the workshop equipped with a basic understanding of the tools required for bookbinding, and will create one coptic bound book by hand. Paper materials provided. Beginners welcome.

These soft-cover binding techniques are versatile and will lend your book projects a simple elegance. We’ll go over several different variations. All materials and supplies provided.
